Applications:

ADVANTAGES :

• Possesses low water content reducing Gel Coat porosity.
• Low volatility reduces odour & results in safer product.

• Manufactured under process which guarantees batch-to-batch consistency – a first in the peroxide industry.

APPLICATIONS :

The addition of 0.1% to 0.5% cobalt naphthanate or octoate (6% solution) to unsaturated polyester resin followed by the addition of 1 – 2% PLASPEROX K - 7 results in a cure at room temperature.

CAUTION :

Do not mix COBALT directly with peroxide as it will decompose violently. First disperse Cobalt in Resin and then with PLASPEROX K - 7. 

STORAGE AND HANDLING :

PLASPEROX K – 7 is an oxidizing material and must be handled with care.  Store in a cool place and in its original container.  It is stable at room temperature.  Storage at higher temperature may result in loss of reactivity.  It must be kept away from all sources of heat and flame.
