PLASPEROX TBP - 50 is a yellowish mobile liquid consisting of ca. 50% w/w t-butyl perbenzoate de-sensitised with plasticizers.  This aromatic perester is also available as a technically pure liquid but can be hazardous in this form.  The peroxide is used as an initiator (radical source) in the curing of unsaturated polyester resins.  Main application : Hot Press moulding of DMC at 130 – 160⁰ C.
